Korinna Dark
Chestnut Mare, 16.1 hands Sire:
Kalligraphy (by Art Deco)

I purchased Korinna as a coming 2 year old from friend and Sporthorse breeder, Donna Hughes. Korinna is mostly TB blood with a dash of Dutch Warmblood through her sire line which goes back to Art Deco. He was a Dutch horse that was approved for many breed registries and has lots of offspring in the ISR/Oldenburg NA studbook. Korinna spent her first year with me learning her excellent ground manners. She was lightly started as a 3 year old. I have owned for now for over 10 years. I know her very well and have had her listed for sale at different times but she is a sensitive, forward going mare and needs a rider who is calm and confident in order to bring out the best in her. She has been used for the occasional lesson for intermediate riders and has done well. She works best when she is in regular work. Likes a routine. Athletic over fences. Nice mover. Pretty. I would love to bred her someday for a Palomino foal.

| Korinna's
sire Kalligraphy is a dark bay and white pinto American Warmblood sired
by the phenomenal Art Deco, owned by Silverwood Farm. Kalligraphy's dam,
Grinder Margaret, is a Main Mare Book approved Old/ISR Thoroughbred
mare.
Shown successfully in-hand as a youngster, Kalligraphy scored an impressive 84.1% under judge Hilda Gurney as a two-year old. After successfully being started under saddle he remained in intermittent training and showed extreme promise as a jumper. Shown lightly until his owner moved from California, he is now living in sunny Florida.
Korinna's dam Nat's Lady (TB) is a MMB approved ISR/OLD mare. A proven producer, her offspring are proving themselves in the hunter/jumper rings. She is sired by L'Natural who is by Raise A Native.
